Weezie Towels Review
I looked through Weezie’s website for months with every intention of purchasing a beautiful set of towels for our newly renoed bathroom. But you know how the One Room Challenges go. They get away from you when you’ve hit your third pipe and nicked the electricity. twice. Serendipitously, they reached out and I could not have been any happier to bring you a review of Weezie towels.
Have you ever bought something and it was so functional you were like, ‘I know this was made by a women?’ For me that was Weezie Towels; a direct to consumer towel brand that was in fact started by women. The business was started by girl bosses, Liz Eichholz and Lindsey Johnson. Small women owned businesses are my heart and this one is no exception. You can tell from the very moment you order that so much thought and research went into these surprisingly joyful products.
Thoughtfully Made and Designed
They truly thought of everything. With a super fluffy and absorbent, white base with 8 piping colors and embroidery available in 13 colors and 7 different fonts, there are so many ways you can take what has traditionally been a boring day to day object and turn it into a literal statement. I opted for the Tybee font in light blue on the bath and hand towels and a pair of the make up towels.
Weezie had me at these “hello” with these gorgeous make up towels that come in a deep navy with “stain me”. This may be TMI but I will probably snag an extra set for our guest room for feminine hygiene. I can’t tell you how many female guests we’ve had over the years who’ve looked at our white towels and washcloths and winced. These are the perfect solution to maintaining privacy without losing any of the luxury.
Guest Bathroom Update
Guest who?! Sorry, I don’t make the rules but I live here now. The towels look right at home in our -once was, is no longer- guest bath. Just kidding, we didn’t do all this work only to keep it to ourselves. But I did have the opportunity to try out the bathroom and the towels. (If anyone asks, it was for “research”). And I have to say, it was the most decadent experience. If you remember what it looked like in here before, then you know this is no exaggeration.
In a Nutshell
The three words that I would use to review Weezie’s towels are luxurious, practical and stylish. The towels are fluffy and absorbent, even after wash and somehow managed to stay clean even without bleach. They truly made it feel like a lux hotel experience. And with towels that are surprisingly long, I was pleasantly surprised with how much coverage the towel gave. They’re also incredibly practical for a towel that is $58 each. Honestly, you use them every day. When you look at cost per use, you’re getting your money’s worth here. Especially since they are so stylish. I find myself more apt to use and enjoy things when they are beautiful.
All and all, stunning. I highly recommend Weezie and suggest the starter pack which include 4 bath towels and two hand towels while saving you 15%. This is such an awesome gift for college students, who want something light that will dry fast but also will last them as long as they are in school. They’d also make a killer wedding gift if you are someone who just refuses to buy from the registry. (Don’t worry. Also me.) Trouble deciding which embroidery to get the newly minted couple? Don’t worry, Weezie’s got your back with a quick monogram guide. All you need to worry about is if you’re buying the right color. And I’m positive you’ve got that.
XO Prepford Wife
P.S. This has nothing to do with anything but can I just tell you that Weezie’s logo is a camel and my college mascot was a camel so I taking that as a sign we were meant to be. For out next bathroom renovation, I’m going reach out and see if they’ll do a custom towel with their logo. I’ll follow up. *winks*
