Cute and Comfortable Thanksgiving Look with Talbots

Hey hey! Like many of you, we are getting ourselves all ready to be home for the holidays. While, Marcus and I have spent most of our holidays at home, this one still feels different.

We won’t get to house hop and see local family or have the possibility of a surprise visit from my in-laws who we can usually trust to pop in once or twice each year. Nevertheless, we’re going to make it a good one. And even though we’re in the house all holiday season, I still want to look stylish and like myself. You guys know when given the option, I default to a dress. I’m almost always more comfortable and it takes a lot of the thinking out of the equation by being just one piece. This long sleeve dress is the perfect cozy, fall piece.

It’s perfect for wear now, wear later. I’m wearing it here with these Dakota booties and tortoise earrings but if North Carolina weather is predictably unpredictable on Thanksgiving, I’d pair it with tights and tall boots. And if I’m feeling particularly casual with my Thanksgiving look, this gal is getting a sneaker. After all, we are going to attempt to recreate this set up in the yard again if the weather behaves itself. (Cross your fingers for me.)
